At Elledge Counseling Associates, their mission is to equip people to make the choices and changes that will lead to the healthy life they desire. They are a group of trained professionals who are distinctively Christian and who believe that as they partner with their clients great things can happen. Life can be very difficult with painful times that people just don’t know how to make better. They want to help. At ECA, they want to walk alongside those who are hurting as they grapple with the troubles of life and seek to overcome them.

Holistic Christian Counseling for the Spirit, Soul, & Body

Joanna is a professional licensed counselor with a Christian perspective, meaning that as a believer, she operates from a Christian and biblical worldview but also maintains professional standards and ethics. Her primary mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ through the mental health services that she provides. Joanna believes it’s important for clients to feel comfortable with the person they are trusting to provide emotional support, sound information, and quality counsel. She has a diverse occupational history that reflects her interests and desires to use all of her gifts and passions to help others in a more comprehensive way which is what led her to this work, realizing that spiritual health and mental health are closely linked. 

Her services include:

• Individual therapy for teenagers and adults (ages 13 and older)
• In-person and virtual sessions*
• In-person sessions are offered at Maypearl Church of Christ, or off-site at parks/trails in Waxahachie or Midlothian for walk-and-talk* (contact for more info)

*Virtual & walk-and-talk may not be appropriate for every client
